Concept:
We have two important elements this week: 1) A cool coin from Portugal (first one ever in a CRO ad), and 2) Said coin in a very hard to find grade.

Solution? Combine these ideas into a caption featuring a famed Portuguese explorer who was very good at finding things so as to highlight both.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We knew we were going with this basic idea, starting with "Even Vasco de Gama couldn’t find a nicer example." But that sort of implied that ol’ VDG was actually looking for one, which we are absolutely positive he was not (since he unfortunately passed away 311 years before this coin was minted).

So we changed the wording slightly to emphasize that this was merely a hypothetical.
