Editor’s note:  My former business partner Dave used to affectionately refer to this obverse motif as “the guy with the Coke machine on his head”, but we now know that cannot be right since the first Coke machine was not rolled out until 1929.

The piece itself is lustrous, delicately toned and with about as nice a strike as you’ll find on this crudely made issue.
