KM-109 variety, Charles IIII type.  Struck at the Mexico city mint.

Always popular as a relatively affordable 1804 Dollar actually struck in the year indicated and which could well have seen circulation in this country (since these were legal tender here until 1857).

Though this nice unc. example never circulated here or anywhere, having evidently been set aside at the time of issue and then perhaps stored in a drawer or envelope where it developed a lovely, soft green and golden orange patina.
