1819 Chamber of Commerce medal issued by the city of Besancon, France.  Dies by F. Chabaud.  Struck in Silver.  36.5mm.

Hard-working yet supremely elegant female figure with heavy machinery on the obverse, Arms of Besancon above 12 Mai, 1819 on the reverse.

And this is a truly superb piece which continues our tradition of offering interesting and unusual esoteric pieces, but only if they are beautiful.
