Concept:
We felt that the distinctive feature of this coin and this ad was the ship, and so we wanted a caption that emphasized that.

After struggling, I turned to my wife, the English major, to find me a relevant quotation we could use. And she delivered.

Overall, the ad was well received, and we sold the coin shortly thereafter, so I guess it worked.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
"All the pleasures of boat ownership without ever leaving your home." was our 2nd choice, but we opted for sophistication over slapstick (at least in this case).
