Concept:
We viewed this week’s ad as a rare opportunity to celebrate this superb 1781 North American Token (about the best one we’ve ever seen, or know about, and the sole highest graded example at PCGS) with a timely, pop-culture reference (since I believe American Idol is just starting up their new season).

And even though your author thinks that show is horrendous, it is a memorable name that seemed to fit in nicely in this context.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Rather than using a lame TV show as our hook, we considered going with "North American Dream.", figuring an American dream reference sounded a bit more ‘high rent’.

And while that may well be true, we decided that first one had more punch, so we went with it.
