Concept:
This one was a challenge.

We thought the most interesting angle on this coin was the absolutely minuscule mintage, but translating that into an interesting caption proved more difficult than expected.

The end result was pretty pedestrian in our view, but at least it made the point we were trying to make.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
"Bold, old, gold".

Yes, we know, when you resort to rhyming captions you’ve hit rock bottom (or gotten awfully close to it).
