June 17, 2019: "Add Some Depth"

Concept:
Just about everyone who sees one of these Jacques Wiener medals on our site or in our display case at a show comments on the incredible depth of their intricately engraved 3-D designs.

Prompting our prolific caption writing guest author to come up with this deep, double-meaninged depth-related caption to highlight this superb über-gem Cathedrale de Tournai piece.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We briefly considered revisiting the the caption used to highlight a different J. Wiener medal in our January 28, 2008 ad, though this time we planned to right that long ago wrong and modify it to "3-D glasses not required."

But that didn’t sit right on two levels: 1) We try not to re-use any ideas (even if they are part of ancient CRO history now), and 2) We still weren’t quite comfortable with that verbiage which is why we did not go with it it back then.

So we were of course delighted when C. Sloan came up with the completely new and deeply satisfying alternative seen here.
