BHM-1665 variety, struck in Bronzed Copper.

An interesting and historic piece with a dramatic depiction of a freed slave on the obverse, and IN COMMEMORATION OF THE EXTINCTION OF SLAVERY THROUGHOUT THE BRITISH DOMINIONS IN THE REIGN OF WILLIAM IV AUG 1 1834 on the reverse.

The piece itself is a beautiful, original golden red, very choice proof.
