Its not that we don’t like this issue. We do – and we’d like to stock them more often. But so many have been conserved and ruined through the years that we very rarely see one that has the ‘look’.

But this one does.

A beautiful, original piece with incredibly fresh, lustrous surfaces, a hint of red near the rims and some striking blue toning on the obverse and reverse.

Not better than 63, but stunning for the grade.
