One of the great condition rarities of the US commem series.

Almost invariably this issue is found with good luster but with George Washington’s cheek so rough from abrasion and mishandling that he looks like he needs a shave (sort of).  On this specimen his cheek is smooth and distraction free.

Light gold toning predominates, with some russet at the obverse rim.
