A neat set of 5 19th century beer tokens, each bearing an obverse portrait of Liberty (much as it appeared on the contemporary Half Cent) and listing the brewer and denomination (i.e. ‘1 Glass’) on the reverse.

And these are rare critters – the most "common" of the 5 is one of about 30 pieces known, while the rarest one in our group is one of 4(!) known.

Due to the size and design similarities, serious collectors of half cents sometimes augment their collections with one of these. But you can have all 5 for a relatively affordable price.
