An elegant, beautifully executed and quite striking terracotta relief of Mlle. Marie Alcoque done by Jean Baptiste Nini circa 1762 (and signed by the artist as shown).

The plaque is in excellent condition with a lovely, original patina and measures 5.5" in diameter.  The frame appears to be of the period and measures 8" in diameter and .75" thick.
