February 25, 2008: "Big Wow"

Concept:
No secrets here – this is a small coin with booming luster and pretty toning that belies it’s size, so we went with the Big-Small juxtaposition theme.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Finding decent alternative captions for this ad wasn’t so easy –

First, we just ran an eye-appealing Seated coin a few weeks ago, and so any similar reference to the type was out.

Second, this type doesn’t really lend itself to lots of clever ideas (at least to us), and so our other ideas were related to the denomination, including "Sometimes a Half is better than a whole.", and "Half the denomination, twice the eye-appeal."

But when we thought about it some more, describing this coin relative to an unseen dime seemed like a very strange thing to do.

So we didn’t.
