Concept:
Hey, who’s ready for some dramatic mythological imagery? We are, that’s for sure.

So we decided to use the caption in this ad to explain exactly what the mythological scene on the obverse of this lovely, super choice, silvery blue Erie Canal Completion Medal depicts.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We briefly considered using the lyrics of the Erie Canal Song by Thomas S. Allen for inspiration, focusing in on the famous first line “I’ve got an old mule and her name is Sal, 15 miles on the Erie Canal“.

But despite our best efforts, we found that extreeeeemely difficult to shoehorn into a CRO ad.
