Concept:
Your author first saw this coin in the Redbook in the mid-1960s and was immediately smitten with that exotic-sounding legend, and the super cool depiction of Liberty seated on a latitudinally and longitudinally correct globe, not to mention the super-crude heraldic eagle on the reverse (not seen in this ad).

But what I found most intriguing back then was that this was an early use of a design that would become SOP on United States silver coins some 52 years later.

Making it a perfect theme for a CRO ad here in 2025.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We explored doing something with the Immunis Columbia legend, but since it’s not exactly clear exactly what that really means, it became quite a muddled concept.

So we did not pursue that.
