March 23, 2026: "Pre-Horn of Plenty"

Concept:
We’ve always liked this 1787 Connecticut Miller 4-L ‘Horned Bust’ variety, particularly in this early die state before the horn-like die break has actually formed.

An attribute (or rather the lack of one) we decided to celebrate by using a recognizable horn caption, but with the pre tacked onto the front of it to highlight this superb, all original, Choice AU+ example.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We briefly considered “Hornless Horned Bust.“, but quickly scrapped it for being merely descriptive.
