Hey everyone, let’s recap the month of May numerically starting right now!

Two:  Early Birds sent out this month

51, as usual: Number of coins on each of them.

About 40: Approximate hours we spent compiling, listing and describing them.

Amazingly 21: Years we’ve been sending out EBs like this.

374 Years: Age of the oldest coin we sold off them, a rare 1652 Oak Tree Sixpence.

77: Age of the newest one:

Half of One: Number of shows we attended this month (since the EAC show in Charlotte started in April and ended in May).

Also Half of One: Bacon, egg and cheese hashbrown bowls I ate during my first ever visit to a Waffle House for breakfast there.

9: In person meetings we had with New England customers this month.

111 Miles: Distance we drove to the farthest one.

Half a Dozen: Trades we made for coins in our inventory.

About 3 Dozen: Total number of coins we received in said trades.

PF67+: Highest grade we received from the services on any coin this month (actually could have been higher).

VF25: Lowest grade received (definitely could have been higher).

3: Customers who told us this month that they wished we took other forms of payment besides checks.

Pretty much all of them: Forms of payment we actually do take (and have taken for years now) as seen in the FAQ section of our website.

Just 1:  Coins we sold this month without ever having a chance to photograph them (an 1806 Large Cent).

Also just 1:  Major shows we’ll attend between now and the ANA World’s Fair of Money in August – the Whitman Baltimore Expo which starts on June 11th. So if you are in the area, we hope you’ll stop by and see us.
