Musante GW-438, Baker-278 variety, Second Reverse. Struck in Copper.

Always an extremely popular type with Washington in uniform on the obverse surrounded by GEORGE WASHINGTON, THE CINCINNATUS OF AMERICA (referring to Roman statesman Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus who was summoned from his life as a farmer to help Rome defeat an enemy tribe, assumed complete control over the state, led a swift victory, then relinquished power and returned to his simple farming life).

The reverse displays the All Seeing Eye surrounded by THE UNION CAN AND MUST BE PRESERVED.

The piece itself is a lovely Choice RB Unc. with excellent eye appeal.
