Concept:
OK, what we have here is a cool 3-Cent pattern that looks pretty much exactly like a late date large cent (except for the date and the denomination). So we decided to highlight that in a way that might cause the reader to stop and try to figure it out.

But to use this idea, we had to show the entire PCGS holder, with the coin description and denomination, since anyone seeing the obverse alone would have no idea what the heck we were talking about.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Just one minor variant, as we considered substituting "a typical large cent" for "your typical large cent".

Generally speaking, we opt for captions that speak directly to the reader, in which case ‘your’ was the obvious choice.
