January 31, 2022: "<- Rare without these ->"

Concept:
When confronted with this lovely, all original 1853 Liberty Seated Quarter, we were in a bit of a quandary. Sure, the coin is fantastic, and we knew we wanted to feature it in a CRO ad, but at a glance it may not be obvious to some that this is the rare No Arrows variant. Especially with a CAC sticker on it, since so since few of these have received them.

Which necessitated showing the slab. And while that might make seeing the lack of Arrows that much harder, it would of course reveal the PCGS label designation directly into your face.

And to be doubly sure, we decided to use a caption which would make the lack of a <- and a -> clear as day.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We briefly considered the very dry “One of just 44,200 minted.“, which aside from being desperately dull also failed to solve the issues highlighted above.

Leaving us to the pun-o-rific “This No arrows will make you quiver.“. And while we liked that, we thought we might find something better which I think our guest author did with the version in our final ad.
