April 6, 2015: "_istory in your _ands"

Concept:
The basic premise here is uncomplicated: 1652 Pine Tree Shilling is a No H variety, ergo there should be no H’s in the ad caption. In reality, it wasn’t easy to actually make this work in such a way that it was 1) Clear that the H’s were missing, but 2) Still legible for the reader.

Until our prolific guest author came through (for the umpteenth time) right at the deadline.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Our first effort was "Sight to Behold.", which would of course be written as "Sig_t to Be_old." But that looked like an unintelligible word followed by Be Old, which we really did not like.

So we moved onto "Top of the Heap." written as "Top of t_e _eap.", which sounded terrible, and looked even worse.

Making us very thankful to receive the final caption when we did.
