Concept:
While I’m sure he was a great guy, and a wonderful monarch, ol’ Charles III is best known today for his impressive ‘Bourbon’ nose, as seen in its full glory on this simply exquisite Choice Unc. Mexican 8 Reales.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
You are in for a treat this time, as we are proud (or embarrassed, I’m not sure which) to reveal the version of this ad that we thought was a real hoot, but which CoinWorld rejected for being too controversial:

"Keep that guy away from my cocaine." — Steve Martin in "Roxanne"

For those of you familiar with this fine film, you will remember the scene in which Steve Martin responds to a lame nose-size insult by coming up with 20 better insults of his own. And of those, I personally favored his ‘cocaine’ comment.

Alas, it wasn’t meant to be, relegating this version of the ad to the cutting room floor (and possibly saving us from countless irate letters and customer complaints), and leading us to the G-rated version in our final ad.
