January 29, 2024: "By This Much"

Concept:
This is the second installment of the CRO Interactive Series (the first being waaaaay back in Febrary of 2010) in which the reader is encouraged to physically participate in the ad.

In this case by extending his or her arms real wide (while being careful not to smack another numismatist in the process) in order to appreciate the relative rarity of this lovely, totally original Chalmers 6p.

And thus illustrate that it it is about 50 times more difficult to locate a choice 6p than a shilling (and a nice shilling is not that easy to find in its own right).

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We briefly considered using a rhyming caption, but the only rhyme we could find for Chalmers was Embalmers, and that was determined to be ‘off message’.

So we did not use it.
