November 21, 2022: "The Call of the Wildman"

Concept:
In our experience, this über-popular and incredibly charming Wildman motif seems to call to collectors, especially in the incredible, all original, old toned Choice Mint State condition seen here.

And so of course we had no choice but to highlight that fact with this slightly modified Jack London novel inspired caption.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Our first effort this week was the extremely literal “Wildly Popular.” But that lacked the pun-filled frivolity necessary in a CRO ad, and so we dumped that idea right quick.

Moving on to the famous Maurice Sendak title “Where the Wild Things Are.“, and while that also contained the word “Wild“, it seemed slightly off the mark in both focus and direction.

Leading us finally to the version in this week’s ad.
