June 30, 2025: "Catch Some Rays"

25-06-30

Author:
B. Solenthaler

Concept:
We really, really like this Mexican Cap & Rays type, more so when it is an unusual date and mint that we seldom see in the marketplace.

Like this lovely, original, lustrous, eye appealing, well made example which is literally the first one we have ever owned that was struck at the San Luis Potosi mint.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Our guest author came up with a caption we had not thought of before, and since it seemed super-appropriate here, we jumped all over it.
