Concept:
When confronted with this amazing, finest known gem 1788 Connecticut Copper it was pretty clear we needed to immediately feature it in a CRO ad with a caption highlighting its incredible condition.

Which our first time guest author delivered with this neatly rhyming ‘copper showstopper’ line.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Our first effort was one of our infrequent, no nonsense, no-kidding-around ads reserved for coins that are so important they deserve a serious ad, in this case simply "The Garrett Specimen."

Quickly followed by the similarly straightforward but more august sounding "A Candidate for Finest Known of this Entire Series."

But while those were both accurate, and suitably weighty, they weren’t very interesting or memorable in our view, so we went with our guess author’s rhyming suggestion for the final ad.
