Concept:
Do you know what percentage of coins of this type are original? We don’t know the exact number, but based on the examples that we see at shows and in auctions and reject instantly, it is clearly not a lot.

So when we saw this piece, we knew we had to have it, and we knew we had to feature it in an ad (like this one, for example) extolling its uncorrupted virtues.

Captions that make the cut:
We actually briefly considered using the old Yogi Berra quote "A nickel ain’t worth a dime anymore.", but while that was entertaining, it didn’t really have anything to do with this item, and was actually conveying the wrong message anyway.

So we did not use it (though we might try it in the future if we feature a suitable nickel).
