We’ve been dealing in Pillar coinage right from the start, handling countless nice examples of all denominations in a wide variety of grades.

Except for 4 Reales.

Since nice examples have proven to be extremely elusive, especially in grades of AU or finer of which we have had not more than a dozen or so pieces in nearly 20 years of lookin’.

Making this neatly toned and sharply struck AU55 a rare bird and a fabulous example of this denomination. A Fab Four, if you will.

Concepts that didn’t make the cut:
We knew we were going with this idea looooong before we had this coin, after being reminded of this nickname during a Beatles docudrama about 4 months ago.
