Concept:
The catchy obverse I AM READY legend on this superb, original, finest seen Civil War Token lends itself to catchy captions, and so we dove directly into that with “Get Ready.“, subtly suggesting the reader should acquire this piece.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
There were a whole series of possibilities this week, all leveraging this same theme, and all vaguely nonsensical.

Starting with “We’re Ready, Too.“, which I think would mean we’re ready to answer the phone if you call or mail us about this item?

But we dismissed that for ambiguity, next trying “Are You Ready?“, which could be interpreted as “Are you ready to purchase this item?”, though that wasn’t really obvious.

So we scrapped that and decided to go with the slightly more direct version in our final ad.
