Concept:
When you are featuring a coin notable for the fact that it is the finest known of about a dozen gilt examples of this normally plain old copper type, and it is waaaaay more gold in appearance than any other one you’ve ever seen, well then you need to highlight that fact with a catchy gold-related caption.

So of course we went with this classic Willy Wonka theme which 1) Has the word gold in it, and 2) Represents a magical prize that everyone would want to have. Which in your author’s view describes this coin to a tee.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
If we were want to reuse old CRO captions we’d have trotted out this one from 2008 again, but it’s more fun to try to do new ones.

So we did.
