January 16, 2012: "Good Dog!"

Concept:
When we first saw this lovely gem ‘Good for a Scent’ token with much mint red remaining we knew we had to take several decisive actions:

1) Acquire it for our inventory

2) Feature it in a CRO ad (like this one, for example)

3) Come up with a caption that appropriately highlighted this cool-looking dog motif (which, after extensive marketing research, we determined was one that made it sound like we were actually talking to the dog).

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
While we did sift through the entire CRO lexicon of dog greetings, praises and commands, most of those (like "Stop drinking outta’ that toilet!") seemed ill-suited for an ad featuring a fine numismatic item.

So we instead migrated to the more appropriate "Who’s a good dog!"(rejected because we think it is best to avoid who’s or whose in any print ad), then the shortened "Good Doggie!", and finally the eventual, more succinct caption seen in our final ad.
