Concept:
In the spirit of the holidays we present forthwith the tenth annual CRO holiday ad!

With this year’s featured image an ornamented, mistletoed, Santa-hatted, gift wrapped and otherwise joyfully decorated gem proof Liberty Seated Half Dollar, No Motto type.

Captions (or illustrations) that didn’t make the cut:
While we, as always, considered other coins as starting points, we knew we were due for a mainstream American coin this year since in recent seasons we’ve featured a Pine Tree Shilling, a Pillar Dollar and a Libertas Americana Medal.

So let us celebrate the U.S. Mint!
