Concept:
Behold our 15th annual CRO holiday ad!

This time featuring an august 1805 Half Eagle festively decorated by long time CRO graphics expert E. Wiseman.

Who is able to come up with a different holiday treatment each time that somehow seems to outdo the previous year’s version. No idea how he does it.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
The caption itself was set in stone waaaaay back in 2007, though we did attempt a different graphic treatment of this coin initially.

The first iteration featured a gray-haired, rosy cheeked Mrs. Claus theme, but Ms. Liberty seemed too youthful for that to me, so we went with the golden haired beauty in our final ad.
