Concept:
Describing this deluxe, original, Ch. Unc., neatly toned and very high quality Hawaiian $1, we went with a new, never-before-used-in-a-CRO-ad postal abbreviation caption employing a HI/High dual meaning’ed switcheroo.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We had two (2) alternatives this week, starting with “King me!“, a pointed reference to the obverse portraited Kalakaua I, King of Hawaii at that time, and a not so subtle suggestion to acquire this item. Alas we decided this was perhaps too pushy, and headed toward . . .

“This item is also available via Lei-away.“, a suitably Hawaiian-themed practical caption in our ‘process’ series in which we discuss the mechanics of an actual CRO coin purchase. Sharp-eyed readers will note, however, that we actually used this caption once before way back in November of 2012, and while we really like this one and wanted to use it again, we decided against a rerun even 8+ years later.
