September 5, 2016: "It’s High, It’s Low"

Concept:
Like us, you probably saw this High/Low angle coming a mile away, since of course this week’s featured coin IS a lovely, wholesome, original HIGH Relief in an unusually LOW grade (for the issue, possibly spending time as a pocket piece living in a well-healed pocket for some time) and at a relatively LOW price (with most High Reliefs in this price range being of the damaged and thus ungradable variety).

Making this quite possibly the most affordable High Relief you’ll ever find with a CAC sticker on it, and thus another thing worth mentioning in this ad.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
There were many variations on this theme, including the punchy "Hello, High Low.", the slightly naughtly "Get High, go Low." and the flat out rejected "Get High for less."

But we felt it was important to insert CAC in there somewhere, starting with the inquisitive "Is this the world’s most affordable CAC High Relief?" before settling on the hybrid solution in our final ad.
