Concept:
We try very hard each week to come up with captions that are extremely specific to the featured coin, since almost all of them could be generically described as “Nice“, or “Rare” or “Eye Appealing“, and running pedestrian ads like that would not be very interesting.

And while we have certainly handled many coins that are lustrous through the years, this fantastic gem Barber Quarter is so exceptional in that regard that it simply demanded what we believe is our first ever luster-centric caption.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
The only alternative seriously considered this week was “Lustworthy Luster.“, but that seemed slightly tawdry to me.

So we went with the version with the more familiar phrase “ . . . to Lust After.” in it.
