October 20, 2025: "Mint Green"

25-10-20

Author:
J. Agre

Concept:
There is only one way to describe a green-toned mint product like this lovely, Choice AU 1807 Capped Bust Half, and that is of course to call it “Mint Green.”

Now, we realize that mint green is also the name of a color, and that color is much lighter than what is seen on this coin, but that’s OK since this caption was not intended to describe the actual color, and anyone who is confused by that is likely to linger over the ad longer than usual which from the perspective of an ad caption writer is never a bad thing.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We sifted through many book and movie titles featuring the word green, including The Green Lantern, but none of them really seem to make sense in a CRO ad.

So we didn’t us them.
