Concept:
In the words of our guest author, the idea this week was to come up with (and I quote) "an anachronism with a jolting premise", which I think we would all agree was achieved with flying colors in this ad featuring a beautiful, original 1805 Draped Bust Dime.

I think it is also safe to say that this was not the concept used by any other coin dealer to formulate any other ad featuring any other coin(s) in this week’s issue of CW (or any other coin publication at any time in human history).

Actually, we briefly considered using a different coin in this ad, and, believe it or not, this was the one and only idea we had for this piece.

So we went with it.
