"Nothing Could Be Finer"

Concept:
This ad (and its reference to the popular 1922 song "Carolina in the Morning" by Gus Kahn and Walter Donaldson) can be taken quite literally, since nothing is in fact finer than the featured August Bechtler ’20 Carat’ $5 graded MS61 by PCGS and verified by CAC.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Our efforts gravitated toward references to popular Carolina-themed songs.

Such as James Taylor’s "Carolina in my Mind", which includes the line Goin’ to Carolina. But while that is certainly a catchy tune, and would seem to me to be rich fodder for a good CRO ad, we never could come up with a related caption that was any good at all.

So we went further back in time to the song, and caption, in our final ad.

After this ad appeared in the paper, we heard from a dealer friend who said the caption should have been "Nothing could be finer than this gold from Carolina.", which we really wish we had thought of earlier.
