April 26, 2010: "Off the Market"

Concept:
This is one of our extremely infrequent serious ads in which we attempt to convey some concrete commercial information. Which in this case is the news of our planned sealed bid sale of a really neat group of coins, all raw, at the Central States show in a few weeks.

The most compelling aspect of which is, in our opinion, that every one of these coins have been continuously off the market for more than 5 decades (as opposed to having been sold in an auction last Tuesday, for example).

The fact that many of them are in their cool old auction flips makes it all the better.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
This turned out to be sort of a challenge, as we needed to cram all of the relevant information into a small space in as clear and concise a manner as possible, while still trying to make it interesting enough to get noticed amidst the other ads in CoinWorld and Numismatic News.

Time will tell if we have succeeded.
