Concept:
As the first year of U.S. gold coinage, this dramatic and distinctive 1795 Turban Head / Small Eagle type is quite literally America’s first gold coin.

Which struck our guest author as a suitable ‘hook’ for an ad featuring this stunning, original and totally new to the market example.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Our prolific guest author came up with “Earliest Gold“, which seemed like an excellent concept, though we ultimately went with the rhyming and thus more memorable tweaked version in our final ad.
