Concept:
In our experience, collectors have always been intrigued by the idea of really, really old copper coins with their original mint red intact. So when we saw this piece – a coin from an old Baldwin’s sale and the oldest full red coin either of us can remember – we thought two things:

1) That’s really cool.

2) That will make a really cool ad.

Because our goal is not to tell collectors what to think. It’s to tap into what we think that they are already thinking. Don’t you think?
