Concept:
From the ‘hit someone over the head with a 2×4’ school of advertising, we decided to highlight this rare and extremely choice ‘Rocks’ ½p with a blatantly obvious and totally predictable Rock-related caption.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We tested out a number of ‘Rock’ alternatives this week, the best of which was probably "Rock of Ages."

And while we probably should have used that one, we have reserved our biggest regret for the image in this ad, which of course should have shown the reverse of this coin, since that is the side with the rocks on it. Oh well.
