February 28, 2022: "Say Yes to this Nose"

Concept:
Dating all the way back to our famous ‘Proboscis’ ad of October, 2009, we have had a fascination with this Charles III ‘Big Nose’ portrait type.

So of course we needed to revisit that idea to feature this lovely, original, golden orange Unc. 8 Escudo with its big, beautiful nose.

In this case with a punchy Yes/No caption we figured would at least be memorable.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We actually briefly considered revisiting that earlier ad and using the alternate idea noted in that ad write up: “Prominent Proboscis Permanently Preserved.”

And while we believe that is a real fine caption (and possibly better than the one we chose back then), we figure it’s always best to move forward and not rehash or reuse old captions.

So we didn’t.
