Concept:
This one was rather obvious.

When presented with simply the finest Lion $1 you’ve ever owned (which is absolutely the case for this superbly toned, all original, unusually well made, Choice Mint state example) it seems quite appropriate to describe it simply as “The Lion King.”

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
The best alternative this week was the customer-suggested, similar-but-different “King of Beasts.” And while we really liked that, we felt it was better used in an ad in which an actual beast was shown.

And while the same issue is also true for our final caption, that one was directly linked to the name of this coin and thus seemed safer in our view. So we used it.
