January 18, 2021: "Silver Fox"

Concept:
We wanted to emphasize that this lovely, all original gem 1723 Hibernia Farthing was in fact silver, since this design is often seen in the far more common copper.

And what better way to do that than to insert the word silver directly into the caption, such as in this cool and catchy silver-related phrase generally used to describe a stylish silver-haired gent (like King George I, for example).

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
We racked our collective brain to find other suitable phrases with silver in them, with the first idea being “Silver Belle.” And while that sounded good, we decided it didn’t make much sense to use it on a coin with a portrait of a dude on it.

Which led us to “Silver Star.“, which was more logical, but ultimately rejected for being too militaristic.

So we went ahead and used the version in our final ad.
