Concept:
Our first time guest author dug deeeeep into obscure Americana to the phrase “23 Skidoo” (which apparently originated in 1906 from some unknown source):

To come up with this oddball, unexpected, but perfectly appropriate ad to highlight this superb, all original, chocolate brown, tough to top 1823/2 Large Cent.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
In a mad dash scramble for 23-related captions, our only serviceable alternative this week was a reference to genetic testing company 23&Me with “This 23&Me could be 23&You.”

Not surprisingly we decided that was not very good, so we did not use it.
