Concept:
We’ve found that featuring gold stickered coins in our CoinWorld ads seems to really resonate with our readers, and so it was a numismatic no brainer to include this wicked, old-holdered, wildly toned proof Barber Dime in this week’s installment.

Fortunately, we had a caption at the ready, since this one had been suggested to us by our several-time guest author a while ago and we held it back, at the ready, so we could unleash it at just the right time.

And that time is right now.

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
The only alternative considered this week was a frankly terrible "Ba-ba-ba, Ba-Barber-ino." Beach Boys riff which I feel uncomfortable even typing here in the relative privacy of the Ad Archive.

But maybe people would have liked that one better?
