Concept:
Whenever we feature a coin of this magnitude in an ad, we feel like it should be accompanied by a weighty, serious and, indeed august caption (and not something silly like we often do).

So this time we opted for an historical fact, that this issue was the first struck for the British Colonies in the New World – namely Bermuda, which was at that time part of the Virginia Colony (thus explaining why Sommer Islands coins are included in the Redbook as part of the American colonial series).

Captions that didn’t make the cut:
Sure, we knew that this caption ought to be a serious one, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t go silly first with "Hog Heaven." before deciding that that was really not the right tone.
